Merry Maids of Wilson & Wayne
In 2016, Cynthia Harris called the local Merry Maids office for an estimate. While talking with the owner, she mentioned that the Merry Maids was for sale. Cynthia spoke to her husband Ron Harris about the sale, knowing that her husband may be interested, since Ron has owned a commercial cleaning businesses for over 20 years. The Merry Maids Rocky Mount office had been in business for 16 years when the Harris family made the purchase.
As of 2025, the Harris' have consolidated and have one office Merry Maids of Wilson & Wayne, which is located in Lucama, NC (Wilson County). Cynthia is a Lucama native and has lived in Wilson county until 2022. The family now lives in Pikeville, NC (Wayne County). Although, the family lives in Pikeville, and they continue to support the Wilson County area as their children attend school in Wilson. The local office services Wilson, Wayne, Nash, Edgecombe, Wake and Johnston Counties.
Giving Back to the Community
Merry Maids of Wilson and Wayne counties is involved in several community events with the Town of Lucama, Wilson Christian Academy, and Tabernacle Baptist Church.
