At Merry Maids® of Florence, our story is one of deep community roots and personal pride. Since opening our doors in February 2014, we have proudly remained in the same location, becoming a permanent part of the Florence community.
Our owner, Fred Surgeon, brought not only his experience in the cleaning industry but also his long-standing ties to the area, having previously owned and operated Papa John's Pizza restaurants in nearby Darlington and Hartsville, South Carolina. Building a business based on opportunity and loyalty has always been Fred's vision.
Our Florence office manager, affectionately known as Buffy, is a perfect example. Starting her journey as a cleaner, Buffy worked her way through the ranks to become a trusted leader, helping to shape the high-quality service and family environment our clients value today.
As a proud minority business owner and graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, Fred's passion for building businesses that invest in people and communities is reflected in everything we do at Merry Maids of Florence.
Our Florence office, along with all our sister locations, is proudly guided by Saddie Lowry, whose more than 20 years of Merry Maids experience help ensure consistency, care, and excellence in every home we serve.
