Erik was born and raised in Dubuque and joined the Merry Maids® team in January 2025. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, listening to music, and playing video games.

What he loves most about working at Merry Maids is getting to see the bosses’ dogs, Nelly and Toad. One of his favorite memories is hearing how happy it made a client’s father to see his daughter’s home freshly cleaned.

Erik enjoys getting to see all the unique and interesting things in people’s homes. His favorite space to clean is the kitchen, and one of the funniest moments on the job was when Mary, another cleaner, slipped and fell—a story the team still laughs about today.

Meet Erika, a shining star of our Merry Maids team! Hailing from the beautiful city of Dubuque, Erika has been part of our family since June 2021. One of her proudest achievements? Buying her very first home!

Outside of work, Erika’s passions include collecting vintage records and quirky mugs, each one with a story to tell. She’s also a huge animal lover, and spending time with our beloved office pets is one of her favorite parts of the job — they always know how to bring a smile to her face!

Family is at the heart of who Erika is. With one brother, two sisters, and a twin, she comes from a fun and lively household that helped shape her warm, welcoming spirit.

We’re so lucky to have Erika on our team — she truly embodies the kindness, dedication, and positive energy that make Merry Maids special!

Jean has been part of the Merry Maids family for eight wonderful years, bringing kindness and heart to everything she does! Growing up in Dubuque as one of nine siblings, Jean learned the importance of family, kindness, and hard work early on.

She lives by two favorite sayings: "Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you" and simply, "Be nice."

Jean has a special love for collecting Cherished Teddy Bears and treasures the time she spends with her good friends and sisters. As a child, she dreamed of being rich and retired — but we’re sure glad she’s living her dream with us instead!

Her favorite part about working at Merry Maids? Meeting new customers and making real connections.

Meet Tami — a proud Dubuque local and an incredible member of our Merry Maids family for an amazing 26 years! She first joined us in April 1999, and her dedication, warmth, and hard work have been inspiring ever since.

While karaoke might not be her go-to, Tami knows how to enjoy a good laugh — especially when watching her favorite movie, Bridesmaids! When it comes to snacks, she can’t resist some delicious honey barbecue chicken wings.

One piece of advice that’s stuck with Tami through the years? "Treat others how you’d like to be treated, and never stop learning."

If she could live anywhere, it would be somewhere warm and close to the water — and honestly, she deserves all the sunshine!

Tami says what she loves most about working at Merry Maids is the wonderful clients she gets to serve, and the fact that every day brings a new and exciting adventure. Her clients absolutely adore her — and so do we!

Mary was born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa, and joined the Merry Maids® family about a year ago. Since then, she’s brought warmth, dedication, and a great sense of humor to the homes she cares for.

Outside of work, Mary loves staying active by running, lifting, and spending quality time with her son. She says her favorite part of the job is being able to do things for people who may not have the choice or ability to do them themselves—a reflection of her caring nature and strong work ethic.

One of the funniest moments she’s had on the job? A client once pulled a full tub of spaghetti out of the dishwasher—an image Mary will never forget!

When it comes to cleaning, her absolute favorite task is vacuuming. There’s just something about those clean lines and instant results that she finds satisfying.

Cassidy was born and raised in Dubuque and joined our Merry Maids® team in January 2025. When she’s not working, she loves playing video games, drawing, and reading.

Her favorite part of the job is getting to meet clients’ pets—and, of course, giving them some love along the way. Cassidy is a huge animal lover, with horses holding a special place as her favorite. When it comes to cleaning, she enjoys making bedrooms feel fresh and cozy, and vacuuming is her go-to task.
