Nik is from Davenport, Iowa, and has been part of the Merry Maids team since December 2024. In his free time, he enjoys drawing and painting, doing DIY crafts, and haunt acting.

What Nik appreciates most about Merry Maids is the flexibility, the support of his team, and the chance to connect with clients he sees regularly. One of his favorite memories is when a client’s bird was out of its cage, flying around during a cleaning visit.

Nik especially enjoys seeing the interior design of homes, getting a glimpse of who people are through their unique styles and décor. Some of his favorite cleaning tasks include vacuuming, deep-cleaning bathrooms, and polishing glass and mirrors.

Carmen is from Rock Falls, IL, and joined the Merry Maids team in September 2025. She enjoys going on walks, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones, making new memories whenever she can.

What she loves most about her job is seeing how happy clients are after a clean and knowing she’s made their day a little easier. One of her favorite memories is helping a customer clean her microwave and seeing how genuinely grateful she was.

Carmen takes great pride in her work and especially enjoys making beds and cleaning bathrooms, always leaving every space spotless. She’s happily engaged, with two children and a house full of love (and pets!). Family means everything to her, and she cherishes every moment spent with them.

Shelbi is from Matherville, IL, and joined the Merry Maids team in June 2025. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, nature walks, hanging out with her sons, and watching wrestling—especially WWE, which she loves.

For Shelbi, the best part of the job is making a difference and seeing the smiles on customers’ and coworkers’ faces when they notice her hard work. One of her favorite memories is helping a customer change out their pictures each season.

Her favorite cleaning tasks are bathrooms and kitchens, and what she loves most is knowing she made a difference in someone’s home. A proud single mom of three boys and three cats, Shelbi’s family is the center of her world.

Linda is from Milan, IL, and joined the Merry Maids team in July 2025. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, watching movies, and spending time with her two kids and three grandkids.

What she loves most about working at Merry Maids is how everyone is always willing to help each other. Some of her favorite memories are seeing the customers—who are always so sweet and thankful.

One of Linda’s funniest moments on the job was when she was cleaning a shower, accidentally turned it on, and got completely soaked!

She loves seeing customers’ reactions when they walk into their freshly cleaned homes and especially enjoys cleaning bathrooms, knowing their next bath or shower will be extra relaxing in such a clean space.

Linda also loves that her daughter, Shelbi, works at Merry Maids too!
