Merry Maids of Lehigh Valley is a proud part of the Merry Maids® brand at large, whose history dates back to 1979 when the original location was first opened in Omaha, Nebraska. Since then, the company has expanded to cities across the U.S., including our very own right here in Bethlehem, PA.

In 1992, Audrey Rehnert, a successful real estate professional, recognized a growing demand for reliable and professional home cleaning services in the Northampton County area. After extensive research, she chose to bring the Merry Maids® brand to her community, drawn by its reputation for excellence and customer care. We have been part of this community for a long time.
Since then, Audrey and her team proudly served families across Northampton County. In October 2023, Audrey and her partner, Humberto Zepeda, expanded the service area to include Lehigh County by acquiring the existing franchise from retiring owners. Today, Merry Maids of Lehigh Valley continues to thrive under their leadership, with a team dedicated to service, community, and cleanliness.

Since 1995, we have sponsored Musikfest, the country’s largest free musical festival, and many other local events and activities. We are honored to partner with Cleaning For A Reason, a nonprofit that provides free house cleaning to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. By offering our services during some of life’s most difficult moments, we hope to bring peace, comfort, and support to families in need.

I began my journey with Merry Maids in late 2022 as a cleaning technician. With dedication and a passion for helping others, I moved into the role of office assistant and proudly became the office manager in 2023.
As a mother of two, I truly understand how quickly time can slip away and how overwhelming daily responsibilities can become. Sometimes, all you need is a helping hand and that’s exactly what we aim to be here at Merry Maids.
